Staff shortages after Covid caused hour-long waits and downscaled flight schedules at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. At least 850 new security agents were needed within six months. A candidate-first recruitment campaign generated over 1,000 unique ads and a dozen landing pages. Each highlighted benefits of the job for a specific target audience. The campaign attracted over 16,000 applicants, resulting in nearly 1,800 hires—double the original goal—well ahead of the busy spring holiday season.
